Well I read in someplace that yahoo prefer H2,H3 tags than H1 and it prefer more content than Google too. But in my site stats i rarely see Yahoo bots coming. how about yours ?

Yahoo hates my sites. I guess my html codes are not properly optimized.

It takes a while for Yahoo Slurp to find new websites. One of my new website was indexed by Yahoo in 3 months but Google and MSN indexed it within a week. You need to get more incoming links from frequently visited URLs by Yahoo Slurp.

well even my site was not indexes in yahoo for early few months like 1 to 2 months
but later it is always visiting my site

My site is over a year old and still gets little to no yahoo traffic per day.

I get TONS of

traffic....3000+ uv per day.

I have changed my h1 tags to h2 and h3 ... will see if that helps.

Any other tips?

Do on page optimization and submit your site in yahoo directory.

I have done tons of on page optimization and submitted to yahoo, but not yahoo irectory yet. And I don't think DMOZ ever added my site....submitted a long time ago!

So still yahoo doesn't crawl your site ? But its different from getting traffic from yahoo. I have a 2 years old site which yahoo doesn't vist and a site which yahoo crawler visits but still no indexed pages.

Yahoo crawls my site, I just don't have a good position on yahoo, but have excellent position on

I get about 11 uniques daily from yahoo and 3000+ from

. I'd like 3000+ from yahoo too....guess I'm getting a little greedy...lol.

Yahoo seems to pay more attention to old school on page optimization. H1 tags, keyword density, etc. Links are important but not as important as with Google.
