Default Google -Yahoo? Microsoft is out?

Well it looks lime Microsoft only has one choice if they plan on taking over Yahoo!

Look for the complaints to fly into the DoJ's antitrust department if Google and Yahoo broaden the scope of an advertising deal placing Google ads in Yahoo's search results.

The two companies got in touch with Justice before starting a brief trial of Google's AdSense for Search on Yahoo. Despite those conversations, antitrust regulators still had some concerns about the top two search sites teaming up on contextual advertising.

There may be more questions after today, and it's a definate that Microsoft will shout suggestions from the sidelines. The Wall Street Journal said Google and Yahoo could be close to placing a new agreement on ads into effect.

They hope to avoid the sting of an antitrust investigation by employing a new system, which would broaden the delivery of ads to any network participating in it.

    Hmmm

    I'm with you there buddy.

I don't want Google to join forces with any other SE in any kind of way!

They are just to damn big, and in control too much, in my opinion that is.

I'm just hoping Microsoft makes a wise desicion, and takes over Yahoo!...

It never was! Microsoft wants Yahoo to combine strengths to eventually TAKE OVER the Internet and Google wants the same thing but they cannot afford it so they are struggling to make a deal with yahoo to make them a bunch of money which seems to be getting closer to that point.

    We will see!

Mark this thread when I say......

I don't care what anyone does....Microsoft will eventually win!

I think MSN will always be alive.

I highly highly doubt they would shut it down if/when they merge with Yahoo!

I do not expect Google to take over Microsoft in the next few years, but the consumers will benefit from the tight competition. Google and Microsoft will provide better services, faster and more secure operating systems as well as lower prices.
