very old and hotly debated subject.

firefox wins almost everytime.

it is more secure, has more features etc.

Yeah, FF is more secure, customizable, more features. Add-ons are the main reason that I like Firefox. You can add something even though it isn't there in the first place. Plus, sometimes I just want something not made by Microsoft. :)

I really like FireFox.

Recently, though, I have been using K-Meleon. It runs off of the FF engine.

Could not agree more. After switching about a year back I haven't had a single spyware or virus attack. It's just more safe. And it isn't Microsoft :p

I use both, and I believe both are really good. I look at it this way, when I build a website I make sure it looks good in both. If it does I am 99% confident it will look good for everyone else in the world! And so far it has worked for me!

I think I.E is best..As IE 7 is out you have to choose IE between 2.

Like most of us here firefox is the best for me too. I had been using internet explorer for a long time before I discovered firefox and after I discovered firefox I found out what a browser should really look like. Firefox was the one which had tabbed browsing before internet explorer and the plugins that are available for firefox are so many and so useful.

Yes, Firefox is the best browser for me, with the news of features that FF3 has got now i can hardly wait. but recently i did come across an argument/study
that FF was more hacker friendly than IE?

I'm using FF, because as OS Master said:

I find Opera more interactive and better than even firefox. It has faster browsing than firefox.though web applications like swf. loads much slower.Still...It even has an adblocker with it!!
