Bandwidth monitor NetMeter tracks the number of bytes flowing in and out of your computer at any given time. Great for students or otherwise bandwidth-limited folks who get throttled after a certain point, NetMeter keeps tabs on your internet traffic for you.
It is a free software.

Oh this is cool.

I'm not really sure why you would want to count your bandwidth though.

I could see this being necessary for a web server though, but most of the time these are included by default.

All the hosting pepole or ISP will provide you it is a separate tool buddy thats all

This is a very useful tool for webmaster to monitor their bandwidth.

If you're running a nonprofit server, I guess you could show your bandwidth usage and the public donations in order to help fund the server, et cetera. Might be useful though...no clue how they implement that via PHP.
