Do you earn money form forums by selling things like Domains or other webmaster related things ? if so form which forum so you earn most of yr money?

I make most money on forums by selling text links on my websites and blogs. Selling domains is another good idea but you often find resellers only (not end users).

DP means www.DigitalPoint.com. It an great Webmasters forum which has more than 80k members.

How do you actually convince them that you're serious about selling your siggy space?

Sig space is very valuable to me as I rent from MANY!! We are predicted to have Big page rank here and after the update, I will be making deals here too!! Get those posts up as they will be very valuable later. The only difference that you will see between us and DP is that we will not ban people left and right like DP does!!

Its depends on the forum, post count, reputation etc. At DP one line from member who has around 2000 could be bought for something under 5 USD.
At Namepros you can buy little cheaper.

If you have enough posts you can selling your DP signature space which is more valuable than NP signature. Also there is a Trade place where you can sell anything you want. only problem it you need a payment method preferably paypal.

I haven't really tried to resell anything (other than domains) on a forum. Once and awhile I will offer graphic design services. I did operate a forum which would allow members to trade services for money or forum dollars which did provide a fair bit of income for myself (as members would have to pay for forum dollars which could exchanged for a number of things) I have since sold the forum... was too busy to deal with the maintenance.

Yes since there is no forum cash system Paypal is the main payment method I think some of them accept E-gold too.

I spend a lot of time working on sites, and I will eventually start freelance web scripting for money...as soon as I find the time lol.

I dont do much selling except site links and seo services but its a nice way to have little more money.

Sometimes it is hard to sell, but sometimes you get that 1 person who really wants to buy from you. i tend to sell graphic items/templates - Domains maybe.. webhosting etc
