Well I have 2 general web directories and I was unable to do anything for last 2 months. Today I checked and there are more than 2700 pending sites in one directory and other has more than 1100. I wonder how long it will take to finish the job :(

I guess at the end it would pay off? If its worth spending time doing it, then do it :)

Well These days its not easy to earn directly from web directories by selling featured links. But still you can use ppc ads or affiliates.

I would say that most directory owners earn money from bidding featured links and adsense :)

it's not hard for me it's time consuming but anyways i stay on the internet 12 hours a day except Sundays so it's a pleasure.

I tied starting a directory before but I don't know how to install the directory scripts, so I gave up. I hope there is a tutorial out there that can help newbies how to install scripts :(

phpld is the easiest to install wizard-like

Like weblord said phpLD is the easiest directory script Its the best one you can find around. Just follow in instruction in readme file and ask if you don't get anything ?
