Hi to everyone,
I recently opened a blog and I am a little stuck with the theme. I really want to make my own theme or modify a existing theme and add my graphics to it, but I am having some trouble with that. Another option is just to use a free theme, but gives me a weird feeling, because I want everything to be my-made. What's your opinion about it? Thanks in advance. |

You cant go and make a theme for yourself.Neither free themes work because they are being used all over.So modifying is the best option.Just fine a good template on the net.Look source code and change the css code according to you convenience and the rquirements of your templates

I'd suggest you get a free theme. I always use free themes and found them to be of great quality. If you are worried about the compulsary backlink, go ahead and bend the rules.
I believe it doesnt look professional to have a free theme and also have a back link on your site. It looks bad.. |

If you don't have the money to get a theme designed for you, use a free theme and change it a bit. Even something as simple as changing the color of the theme makes your site stand out from the competition. Once you do make some revenue, I would suggest getting your own design to stand out from other sites out there.
