how to learn web designing?

Hi

i want to learn web designing and i have a little bit knowledge of HTML, DHTML, only and i want to learn more then i can upgrade myself. what will do first, learn the CSS or PHP or anything else............

give me the right way to learn.

ok first of all HTML is the base language ! you have to have great knowledge of HTML...

And talking of server side scripting, PHP is the most powerful... i request using PHP...

Meanwhile, there is a huge difference between PHP and CSS, CSS is "Cascading Style Sheets" and that means it's used to design and manage your website's index and pages...

So first of all start learning HTML, and as u know it well Move on to CSS to learn some good trics... and then learn PHP or any other server side script"i suggest PHP"...

If you need some tutorials go to W3Schools Online Web Tutorials or Tizag Tutorials or in french Le Site du Zéro, site communautaire de tutoriels gratuits pour débutants : programmation, création de sites Web, Linux......

But to learn pro PHP buy a PHP ebook...

Furthermore, To create a powerful website, you have to use Databases, and i suggest using MySQL... So try to buy or download PHP/MySQL ebooks and i can sell you some for cheap prices if you want....

and join the forum,buy some books and ask some friends..

I also would like to add that I too recommend W3Schools. Check out their tutorial on HTML to get started, then move on to CSS. After that, you are ready for XML, Javascript, and Ajax. Learning the basics of PHP isn't a bad idea either.

Read around some Photoshop tutorial sites, and use W3Schools if you intend to learn to code as well. Learning by doing is the most effective method, so just follow some tutorials and have a go :)

is one of your best tools for finding tutorials. Tutorials are plentiful in quantity and can be very descriptive. Also check out w3.org to find a large selection of editorials and reports (a good source to make sure everything your doing is 100% current and compatible to todays coding standards). It is a nice feeling to discuss about web designing.If you are not a professional web designer i advise you to visit W3Schools Online Web Tutorials and you will get enough help about designing a website and your weaknesses and strengths in web designing.You should keep messaging on forums and also read tutorials.For a professional web designer you need to learn HTML,flash,java script,css,adobe photoshop and you will be able to design a professional website.

Mate if you can afford and have time than I would recommend you to join some school of web designing. At there you will learn systematically and from top to bottom. If you will go online than you will learn about hand and will forget about legs ... so this one will keep going.

If you cant effort than buy a good book and follow them chapter wise and use internet to get the clear idea. W3schools is really a good option.

There are lots of way you can learn this software to use. If you are working and you want to learn it in your free hour then you can choose the best on-line video training provider. You can also learn it from some institute of you can learn it by a book but it will only be a theory knowledge.
