Try downloading via BitComet or Bittorrent.

Try using DAP. It's a great help during my dial up days.

If so, download BitComet here. With Bitcomet, you can pause the download, and then start it up later, and many other things... I love it!

Torrents are the best for downloading any type of file that is large in size. It has slightly different procedure for downloading as compared to usual downloads. You first have to download the torrent file which is just some kbs and then open that file in bot comet.....

Whether you choose to use BitComet or any other BitTorrent software, it doesn't matter really. uTorrent can do the same as BitComet :).
But it's true; try to find the file that you are downloading at a torrent tracker (private). That might be faster. I download at 200kb/s from normal websites (via FF), and 1,3mb/s from private torrent trackers. |
