Why is everyone saying pr is rubbish now?
Is it because it doesn't effect serps or something? if so, then its still worth something cos people still pay for links on my site because of pr.. Here pr means Page Ranking I have found that many people dont know about SE that is why I reminding you about pr...

I think thousands of directory owners and link sellers would beg to differ

PR still matters since it's still quite a lucrative business for various webmasters, although it may not matter that much in the SERPS.

PR Really does matters.
if you are going to link exchange with some buddy, he would as for the PR of your site.

pr is waste at all it doesnt show how it calculates and even it decreases like pr5 to pr 0 but how actually it goes this much low

For me, PR is still important (but not as important as SERP!); especially on link exchange, wherein when you have high PR, you have tendency to link also to other of same PR.

coz some of the people are disappointed working to gain pr and yet they fail.:D but i dont mind much thinking about pr, im focusing on site traffic instead...

From me!

From day one of the internet...and this is way before

showed up!
It was always, GET TRAFFIC!!!!

Pr is great to get, but don't waste your time obsessing about it, or trying everything under the sun to get pr.

Instead focus on getting TRAFFIC!!!

Where would you rather advertise?
1. PR3 (or whatever pr) and little to no traffic.
2. PR0 with hundreds or thousands of visitors per day.

If you pick 1, you are basically wasting your money!

I have seen pr sellers who want big bucks, but ask for traffic proof and they hem and haw, and just point out, "look at my pr".

Who say you can't make money with PR? Don't ever think that traffic is the only way that you can use to monetize your site. If your blog has high PR, you can easily get a pay to post job!

I feel in this manner because of few reasons -

# Wordpress and Blogspot's blogs getting PR 4 or PR 5 without any hard work and quality contain
# You never able to take PR as the base of test to check the credibility of any websites.

But however I like it because of this I am able to get good money from link sale.
