Why is everyone saying PR is rubbish now?

Well i think Pr is just a goal for some webmasters . for me alexa ranking and SE Ranking more important

PR certainly matters but it shouldn't be your only consideration, there are plenty of sites with high PR that have very little traffic, just make getting higher a PR part of your goal and not your sole goal.

Page Rank doesn't really guarantee you higher rankings in the search results. I have seen lower ranked sites showing above those will higher ranks.

Because PageRank is a ranking factor, but not the only one.

Hi there,

I think PR plays a crucial role in SEO and SERP. though meta description and keyword optimization has greater role in SERP still PR has many advantage that SEO experts cant ignore.

my friend i think you are not aware of it but if you have high PR you may earn good amount of money but by adding links or banners. You get good bargains if you have regular caching and high PR.

No, I don't think so, PR is not rubbish it shows website popularty but ranking is most important according for PR.

If you have your own sites and you want to make money from your site on adsense only to PR is no matter but you want to make money from sell links so you need to PR also.
this is different about PR and SERP.
