I just took a Joomla site and copied the site to an HTML site separating the pages and the PR jumped way up after just one update as well as the inner pages!! Too much middle man in their script in my opinion.

I see some people that have good luck with Joomla but I personally do not like it!

Very hard to get all set up right.

I am starting to like E107 alot! Their plugin system is very cool and their are many free templates you can get for them now!

Same here I always prefer to have handmade pages for sake of SEO. its easy to handle them to do in page optimizations.

I've tried using Joomla, but decided that it didn't fit my requirements. I needed my own customized website for powerful features.

Joomla is a great CMS, but I prefer hand-coded websites.

Joomla seemed a lot cleaner to me than PHP Nuke and seemed to have all kinds of extensions. It's a little bit overwhelming to get started, especially since it starts you at a certain point that you have to back off of if you don't want all the features. However, it is pretty reliable and has a huge support base. But since it is all dynamically driven, not as SEO friendly.

Yup! I'm using joomla and I find it very easy and interesting. Has a lot of templates, modules, and components to choose from. And the best part is, it is FREE!!!

Joomla is not for the average user. It is might difficult for the newbie. But, its the best free CMS out there. Lots of mods/plugins, and templates, both free and paid. I use it when I need to use a full-fledged CMS. Else I just use Wordpress, and mod it.

Joomla is pretty difficult at first I believe. I have used it once and I find the learning curve to take a little while. The tons of templates and extensions override the difficulty though. Sometimes there is rarely a need to do serious customizing.

Just head to joomla.org and check through the extensions. Or you could just do a search of the extensions. There should be at least one real estate module.
