Hi,

I am looking for someone who can advice/help me build or find software/script for a search engine. I am looking to provide a service to a niche market with relevant news, articles, jobs etc . Being a non technical person I am not sure weather a search engine is my best choice or if I should have a directory instead. My only thought with a dircetory is that it would look very empty to start with - how do I get it to look good

Any ideas are very much appreciated as the more I search for solutions the more confused I get.
