Google Pages Benefits

Well, first off, the main advantage for Google Pages is that it is under Google so that means you expect higher from them than ordinary hosts or website builders.

Google Pages is actually for beginners- at least for now because webmasters still have no control over server side scripting. Anyhow, the website builder is good and will suffice if you need a simple website solution.

So the benefits are:

1.) Again, it's Google.
2.) Of course, the simplicity.
3.) Easy-to-use/ User-friendly Interface
4.) Fast and (most probably) great uptime
5.) Lots of widgets/ add-ons

Extremely simple and uncreative in my opinion. If you just want to quickly publish sometihng on the web this would do, but otherwise I would recommend going atleast to a blog or something.

It has date,time and more widgets like weather it is interesting

Google views PR as one of the many factors that affects Search Engine Results Page.The higher the website’s PR value, the higher the selling price. Due to the reason that there are many people willing to pay high price buying links and ads from high PR websites.

Correct me if I am wrong but

doesn't allow html/upload; only ASP. They used to allow full html functionality but discontinued that before the transition to the Pages.

Thanks for information. It appears to be very clear that Google views PR as one of the many factors that affects Search Engine Results Page (SERP). By improving the PR value will better position our website in the SERP.
