Signature Rules To be Started!! Wrong Thread?? Please look!!

We have been doing our best to keep a clean enviroment in Devhunters but I'm sure that we have let a few things slip through the cracks!!

We will FINALLY be making some changes this week that we have been working on for a good while but before we put these cool features in place we will be addressing a few things that have been building up here. This is what you can expect in the next few days....

1. We will no longer be allowing ULTRA SPAM type advertising in our Signatures such as Pharmacy Spam and/or similar type spam here at Devhunters effective at once! We will also be placing a character limit on the amount of space in the signature which will be done in a couple of days.

2. We will be putting a focus on placing threads that do not belong in to a relevant thread. We will be also be putting specific advertising threads and/or a directory type set up to define a service from spam.

We hope that the community will approve of these actions and give us a hand to get this accomplished as we feel that they are necessary to maintain a clean web forum for everyone to enjoy and benefit from!!

I personally do not mind people advertising these types of things because people have a choice to say no but the Search Engines DO have a problem so we have to conform to that way of thinking as well. We are a webmaster forum afterall!!
