Why some sites having good page rank are using unrelevant links to get traffic?Is it good way to get traffics or not?

its not bad for traffic. If you are selling domains but put a link in a book selling site but still you get traffic and they buy your domains nothing wrong about it. But normally traffic from un-relevents sites doesn't converts well

With unrelevant links you can get some traffic, but chances are your visitors will not convert well. So, if you want to get clicks and sales, chances are that an unrelevant link strategy wouldn't pay off for you.

I don't think unrelevant links could possibly hurt...

Any links are good, especially backlinks. Search engines like that.

yes even if it is irrelevant.. dont think about traffic.
but think about back link..
atleast he gets a backlink form it..
