But aside from writing good contents and anchor text linking, it's best to first work on the on-page optimization of a site. A good coded website with the appropriate to context meta tags will help a site easily crawled by search engines spiders and bots.

Once codes are done, then you can now proceed on the off-page part which is link building. There are lots of SEO tutorials over the net. All you have to do is read and implement it.
