Google is cult in whatever it has done. Also, Google was probably only into SE service and so, it is quite an invincible in this territory......

I like Sometimes Google but when Matters comes for Back link then I use Yahoo

I'm a Yahoo guy ... but i also can't complain about Google's performance.
Plus, Google's web master tools (if this what you are looking for) are phenomonal (analytics....etc)

Google is the top dog to compare your keywords and search to, as another poster touched on how they are the engine that all advertisers go to.

But there's something about Yahoo that i just love.

For me both are best i'm having 58% Traffic From Google And 40% From Yahoo And just 1 % From MSN . So Yahoo and Google both are very important for me .

Yahoo is better in terms of services. They are also better at taking over services. The only real thing that

has that they do right is adsense and soon yahoo will have that nailed down as well. I do like

's search a lot better though.

Google is the best. And Yahoo is also more xpensive, PPc is more xpensive and getting listed in the directory cost more than 200$.

YSM do not even care of your ctr, you get positioned only for your bids, wich make it a very unfair ppc engine.

As a search engine,

results are 10 times better than any other.

i would definitely say

over all. Although Yahoo has some pretty cool features, Google would be my #1 for many reasons.

One reason is Gmail. I have tried hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail. Gmail has an awesome spam filter! i have no idea how they do it, but they do! and they make searching your emails very easy as well as automatically group and tab old messages.

Another reason would be because Google has the best search engine in the world. Try searching your name in yahoo... then do it in Google. I am positive that Google will have much more search results.

Last, Google has cool applications that you can download free such as Google earth, picasa and Google desktop manager. all awesome apps for free!

In my opinion the better search engine is the one that gives the most relevant results to a wide and varied range of searches. You cannot use one or two example to make a judgment, and I’m afraid you can’t even say that it works better for you when you just happened to come across an instance where the Yahoo index had a page Google’s didn’t. Personally I use Google more and that doesn't mean its better than Yahoo
