Arrow Blog n SEO

The following tips should be kept in mind for each blog entry in order to optimize them for the search engines and drive more traffic to your Website from your blog:

1. Optimize each blog post around a single keyword
2. Make sure your keyword is in your blog post title, preferably at the beginning
3. Use subheads with or tags that also use your keyword
4. Include 1-3 keyword links (anchor text) in your blog posts
5. Sign every blog post with a signature link that uses your keyword
6. Use bold and italics effectively to emphasize certain keywords and phrases
7. Be sure to ping the directories
8. Include tags for all of your blog entries
9. Use categories effectively
10. Make links appear natural by linking to internal pages of your Website

Uhh, some people gear their blogs towards making money, but I really wouldn't force SEO like that.

If you use Wordpress, then you should be fine...bottom line. The rest all comes from advertising your site.

Nice tips. But I don't pay too much attention to keyword density when I post in my blog.

Try to post a blog related to your services and left the links between them to your site.

I would also suggest being a regular blog poster. Whether regular means everyday, twice a week or a few times a month, be consistent. Not only will this help build traffic and readership to your site, it will give incentive for your readers to visit you regularily, as they know there will be new stuff to read.

Blog links are infinitely better than links you get in the forum. Getting someone to post about your site without some incentive would be a problem.

i think it is better to earn from a web site rather than a blog. Many people may not like this, but according to me,,blog is the most stupest thing around here!!
some of your tips you posted here can also be used for a web site .

I don't know of this has been mentioned, but if you steal content for your blog, then spiders will hate you with their guts, so reword or at least write your own content :)

Actually its a lot more easier for me to use my SEO skills on a blog rather than on a website ! Blogs are in fashion now and they are really easy to use !

Default Blogs and websites interlinking

So far my blogs have helped promote my website and vice versa. My blogs have gotten a big boost by linking them to the website. Go figure.
