Wink Q and A section

Do search engines like Question and Answer sections on a website- is this beneficial for SEO?
And would a Q and A section be good to be a part of a landing page? Or how about a forum?
:o:p

From what I know the more valuable content you have is the better the search engines like you.

I don't know about the landing page but i'm sure if you asked Hunter1 or one of the SEO gurus here they would advise on that.

I like to see Q and As myself.

I think the more keywords you have, the more the search engines like you. And a question and answer (or a FAQ setup) would certainly give you the opportunity to open up to a lot of different keywords.

It defiantly wouldn't hurt it, but not sure if it really 'helps' it enough to put a lot of time into it.

actually I don't look any Q-A pages of search engines. They may be as a blog entry, then it would be better I guess

If you have rich quality content regardless of the form (AKA Q and A etc.) the search engines will eat it up.

I believe that good content would be a factor for search engines, so having Q and A is alright as long it is informative to the people...

I think they will love them, Fresh original content, based on exactly what you want to rank for. So far the advice is true and from experts you have content gold. You need to set it up in a manner that can be indexed properly by the search engines so you can rank for each question(s). For Forums, Well that's what they are all about in the first place.

I think, Google does like Q&A. You will find many results from yahoo answers section in search results.

I have seen many Q & A sites coming on the top during searches. So yes they do love Q & A as far as the content quality is good.

Yes, I think so. As what other members said, search engine likes fresh content and adding that, would be a good contribution not just for your search engine visibility but helpful for your visitors too.
