I guess people would have to find things the old fashion way, which was through directories like Yahoo originally was. Although with the amount of sites that are on the net now, that would be one big directory.

SEO=Search Engine Optimization, maybe without it we would automatically be on all the search engines and not have to do anything? :) Wishful thinking I guess.

Internet world especially searching is scattered... Non relevant results will pop-up no accuracy in searching the right term..

I think sites that offer their products and services will not be successful in their promotions and sales.

Maybe if SEO does not exist, search results might not go according to its right path making it more complicated and brings hassle to the audience.
