Exclamation Joomla! and SEO

'm considering migrating my current site (static web pages) into Joomla!. I rank pretty high in all 3 major search engines and do not want to lose these rankings, what do you suggest? Should I go for Joomla!? Should I redirect the highly ranked pages? I'm a bit worried but my site's growing and I need some kind of CMS. Any other option?

If you switch to Joomla it will be like starting all over because you will be in a content management system, thus changing the URLs for your site pages and you will then lose all of your indexed pages in the serps!!! Depending on when you do it, you could lose some or all of your PR as well if it is mid-way through a Goog update!

He's right about losing ground. I redesigned my site and lost a whole page rank because of it. I have been hesitant ever since. Not sure if I would switch to Joomla at this point if you have a lot of high rankings.
