Which domain is better from SEO point of view ? well i know ecards.com have more value than e-cards.com from domain names point of view. but when it comes to SEO i think e-cards is better.

The shorter the url the better and I don;t think it's wise to use special characters in the domain name.

i dont think so that a - matters alot in seo but the special characters are not good for traffic as they are hard to remember

It depends on what type of traffic you are mainly looking for. if you want generic traffic from search engines then shortness of url doesnt matter , wut matters is how it helps to SEO. Short names or names without hypers are good for branding or typo traffic.

The hyphens won't cause much difference for your SEO. Content is what matters in SEO of your website. However, on MSN search engine, you might getter better rankings because of your domain name.

ecards.com is thebes domain and it can get a good seo or may have already and the domain is shorter than e-cards

I think it depends on the type of people, lol. People who know a lot about e-cards would are probably more likely to include the hyphen when they're searching. But when if I were to find e-cards.com I'd jump to the conclusion that ecards.com got there first so they had to resort to including the hyphen, haha...

Same with e-mail.com.

I think "ecards" is good as a branding and also for type in traffic. But e-cards is better for organic traffic like search engine search result.

can separate words if they do not have a hyphen, but it can sometimes not produce the desired results.

technically, e-cards would be better, as it would see it as two separate words, all this ecards is shorter doesn't really mean anything.

at the end of the day, the domain has cards in it, which will help rankings a lot, as I bet cards is typed in loads.

Think about it. According to my understanding, from the seo point of view the domain name without any special characters will be more effective. So ecard will be better than e-card.
