Do you listed on DMOZ directory?
I read sama article. Dmoz directory is the best way to indexed at major Search engine. This means Listed on Dmoz, Indexed at Search engine

I think that was in past. Now SMOZ seems much more like dead. I prefer to spend the time i would spend for submit site for that to link exchange and directory submission.

i dont have enough time to submit my site to dmoz and afeter 2 months my site till doent get listed

Most of categories dont have enough editors and even most who has listed as editors are whom joined to get their sites listed.

Dmoz has been the Most respected directory in the business and Google trusted the fact that your site was listed because of the tight security of letting sites in, but it is of my opinion that Google has changed all of that!! They have their own guidlines to rank your site and they do NOT rely on sites like Dmoz anymore but Dmoz is still a powerful directory to be in if you can get your site listed in it!! Good luck on that one!!

I have never tried Dmoz, but I will! I agree that

has its own guidlines to rank. Otherwise, they would too vulnerable.

yes i got included once for www.ValentinoRossi.info

my guess is it for approved when it did not have adsense on it, just a simple fan site with no earning ideas on it

been trying to get my www.RonaldinhoGaucho.info and www.MilanoFan.com for a while now but no use

I submitted my main site to DMOZ, and I have not heard back from them.

It does have Adsense on it, but it is a free enterprise. I'm surprised it got rejected.

I've posted on DMOZ and never heard back from them either. It a fishing website, why haven't they answered back it's only been about a year!

Have you ever got listed there or when you the last time your sites got listed there ? In old days it used to provide value to web site by traffic and also Google used to give u marks if you are Dmoz listed but not anymore.
