I think long tail, niche relative keywords would be suitable to target at the very beginning. It is really helpful in getting instant traffics for a good ranking via your inner pages. :)

Have a nice day,

Using competitive keywords right from the beginning is not a great option to use. I would suggest that you go with the less competitive keywords initially to gather traffic and gradually you can turn to more competitive keywords. Another this is keep track of your competitors, see what keywords they are using and which are not so that you can incorporate those keywords as well.

All the best!!!

Google actually has a few keyword tools that are available. In their Adwords system, they have a Keyword tool and a "traffic estimator sandbox". They also have a "search-based keyword tool" that you'll want to visit

The keyword should be the highly related for the viewers oriented also the famous one...at the next word can be selected as the less competitive one.

Yes, you have to work on content and heading with choice of your keywords.
1) Go to following URL https://adwords..com/
2) Click on link >> Get Keyword ideas
3) put the phrases you want to target and find the other related permutations for that keyword or key phrases.
4) Use those targeted keywords in titles and in content of your blog.
5) Wherever possible, try to emphasize those important keywords by either making them bold / italic.

You could also try a mix of both, with your emphasis being on long tail key phrases.
