how much you made money from your phpld directoies per month
also i want to know how you make money frm this phpld ?

in this month from a pr4 directory, only 25$ in first 11 days.
that directory isn't mine, my one friend.

thats cool I think i need to work hard to get pr but previously my directry had pr 2 and inever got a penny

PR doesnt matter as much as Where you put it for people to see it!

started out with one, then created a few more...there is a few extra dollars in it, not enough to depend on for anything real.

hmm that means you definately made some good bucks thats why you started few more othrwise you didnt make few more directories

Actually its the opposite, I made a few bucks a month, $10 or so...and figured I'd multiply that out by installing 10 more directories...but that isn't how it worked out.

Directories are a lot of work to get them in good standing, and even after years of link building, the thing can get kicked out of Google at any time ( I've had this happen over and over ).

I started DoD: Directory Tracker to get a good year or two of data on "quality" directories...and see how they really fare over time. So far, the results have not been encouraging.

With all the security holes in phpLD, it immediately becomes a spam trap if and when it gets any traffic. I've forked the original GPL version of phpLD: GippleDee: Link Directory Software in an effort to keep it open source and fix those issues. If anybody is interested in joining the project, please do.

It takes a year to build up a good link directory. Start there.

announce your directory on forums, and allow people to submit for free until you get some pagerank.

I get ~ 45$/moth from my directory, also I re-invest 10% of profit to directory.
