Bug #25952 Parse error on line 1 - have to remove zend/*.parser.c


Description:

PHP 4.3.4RC2 seems to compiles fine, but every PHP script we call
results in a "parse error on line 1".

Thies Arntzen told us to remove zend/*.parser.c, zend/*.parser.h,
zend/*.scanner.c and then run make again - this works fine for us. But
we were hoping that this issue be resolved in 4.3.4.

We had the same problem with PHP 4.3.3 on SuSE Linux as well, and also
on an HP-UX server.

Here's the configure line:

I can't understand much of what you are saying. First, tell us the webpage with the error. The way you set up to tell us the error message, well we are confused.
Second, show us the whole source code, what line the error message was on (If you didn't give us a webpage), and then I and the rest of the forum will do I/our best.

that is not a problem of PHP.
background c content isn't installed successfully.
check them & installed them again if necessery.
