It is as SEO friendly as the script you are using.

I hear that an SEO mod has been released.

I will hunt up the link for that and post it soon!

TEMPLATE UPDATE:

The first release was revised for footer placement being aligned left instead of center!

To Fix:

1. You can download the new zip and just upload the Venomous/style/main.css and you will be good to go.

2. Go th the Venomous/style/main.css

Search this line:

: padding: 25px 25px 0 25px;

Change to: padding: 25px;

And then change the alignment below it from left to center

Either way is simple!

This is a great template. I'm using it for my megaupload4anime.com Site. I was just wondering. I tried using the Ratings and Comments mods for it and it doesn't seem to work with this template. Which is fine and all. But if possible, do you know what I can do to get it to work?

EDIT: I'm kind of not sure if I'm doing this right with PhotoShop. You got a GIF file and a PNG

Is there a certain way I have to save the PSD to match like GIF and PNG? I know they have this interla

The 2.1.2 is the free version from phpLD.

I was actually going to release a Venomous version for that but didn't.

If there was a few that wanted one I may put it the rest of the way together.

I have a strange problem using this template with IE6. I can't click on anything in the sidebar or main content area. I can however click on the links in the top menubar.

By not clickable I mean the mouse does not change to a hand and clicking on the links does nothing. This happens for all links in the center. The categories in the sidebar as well as the main content area. Also the footer links do not work.

It acts as if the entire center content area is a picture.

But the whole thing works great in Firefox.

Have you tried to clear your windows browser cache yet?

That fixes many problems related to that, especially since it works in FF (read in your email).

I haven't seen this problem yet but that doesn't mean that you are not having it...

Yes, I cleared the cache. Actually it was the first time I ever viewed the site in IE6. I even tried a different computer.

I just tried re-uploading everything and still have the same problem. You can check it at www.orgasmicpornblogs.com

I am not to wild about visiting sites like that but that is just my taste.

I tried the site in both FF and IE6 and I am not seeing the problem that you are.

Hmm,

Do you have a buddy that you can ask to view in IE6 and see if it returns the same?

This is a first but Im sure we can figure it out.

My apologizes on the site. I should have warned you. But I did atleast take out the questionable content except for a few banners.

Anyway, I tried the site on a few more different computers. One one computer I was able to click the links but the main content background and sidebar headers were gone.

I looked at the css.tpl file and I thought maybe there was an extra } on line 20 so I removed it. That allowed me to click on the links but again the main content background and sidebar headings were gone.

So I think maybe the problem is with the css.tpl so I took the include out of the header.tpl. That allowed me to click the links but the layout was totally messed up.

Not sure why it half works on some computers and not at all on others. I just don't know enough about this type of coding.

Here is an update on what I tried. I removed the .wrap statement from css.tpl. I cleared my cache and reloaded the page. The transparent background from the center content was missing but I could click on the links.

I also noticed, with the code as you supplied it, if I put my mouse just below the link for register I can see the link underline show up and I can click it.

So like I mentioned earlier, it acts as thought there is a transparent image over top of the content section.

Weird!

Well you are correct in assuming that the css would need tweaked but I couldnt see the problem from here.

If I could I could easily fix it.

It sounds like your on the rail so you may as well mess with it some more. If you cannot figure it out then I will think of something, try another PC or?? to see if I can re-create the problem.

Sorry for all of your trouble! This is truly a first!

Ok, I just got home and tried it. On one computer I have IE7 and the site worked fine. On my laptop I have IE6 and have the same problem. So I think the problem is with IE6.

Is the code in the css.tpl file just for IE6?

I think I've figured out the problem, but not the solution. It has to do with the PNG file and tranparency with ie5.5 and ie6. Both ie5.5 and ie6 do not support it. Which is why you used the DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader in the css.tpl. And this is what causes the mouse to lose focus.

I did some more searching and found a page where they guy had it working, but I have no clue how to put it to work in your template. Here is the link I found.

IE AlphaImageLoader, Transparent PNGs & Links

Maybe you will know how to make it work.

Here is another link talking about the problem as well
satzansatz -- PNG alpha transparency: AlphaImageLoader filter flaws in IE6
