Free 2.1.2 phpLD Template Download - Dev-X !!

We are offering this multi color series for phpLD version 2.1.2 which we call Dev-X for immediate free download.

Check out these features:

PLEASE READ THE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS VERY WELL!

The template uses category icons as you can see in the demo, but requires a little bit of work and is well worth it I feel!!

YOU CAN OPT TO MAKE THE DIRECTORY A NO ICON VERSION WITH ONE (1) FILE UPLOAD (provided in zip)

We enjoy providing these templates for members to enjoy and you can customize them to fit your style but All That We Ask is that you be kind enough to leave the footer links in place.

You can purchase a Footer Removal Permission for $30.00 USD per template (Paypal only). PM Hunter1 to get the information.

Custom design and mod work available upon request as well for phpLD and other types of scripts.

I have completed but it didnt worked as the demo shown

Well for one thing...I see that I was in a hurry and I have the wrong Defualt Logo pic in the zip!!

The problem you are having is a simple one and will take just a few minutes to fix.

You can read in the install docs, the part about using the category icons but if you would like to PM me FTP info I would gladly fix it for you!

I have updated the Blue template zip to have the default logo pic that should have been in there.

You can upload the updated zip if anyone needs it!

Your pub- is in the home_extra.tpl

The template has no alignment problem at all.

Your problem is this:

Your categories images are produced by the category numbers...ie: http://www.Yourwebsite.com/templates/Dev-X(Blue)/images/cat/5.png <--

You see the Red number which you find by right clicking on your homepage categories.

You need to then go to the Dev-X template folder and go to Images/Cat Folder which has all of the icons in it and select the image that you would like to have for the particular category and re-name it to the red number for that particular category and you will be fine.

NOTE: You also have to have an equal amount of sub-categories (displayed on hompage) for each main cateogry which you should anyways for appearence.

If tou would like help, PM me and I would be more than happy to se them up for you so your directory has the icons.

Okay I'm sure I did something unbelievably wrong, so I'm wondering if I found the full instructions as they were very short. I downloaded the zip file. I unzipped the file. I uploaded everything in the Upload (Dev-X) Blue folder. Nothing changed. I went to templates/install - it said I didn't have access. I changed all permissions on every single file in the templates directory - I still don't have access and nothing has changed. What have I done wrong?

How do I require payment for the side-bar site favorites advertisement links?

Hello All,

I have seen the problem of misaligned categories posted a few timeshere. I have tried the posted solutions But.. I just can't seem to get it solved. If someone has another workaround for this APFB.org Directory I would be happy to hear from you.

I really like this template and would rather keep it that replace it with something a little more simple for a newbie like me.

BTW I love this directory. I have just one question. My featured links to seem to be not working. When you click on a featured link it just links back to the main page, instead of going to the featured link.

Edit: It seems to do the same thing in your demo too.

Edit 2: I sort of figured it out. When you click on the picture it doesn't seem to do anything, but as long as you click on the link it goes to the page.
