i want to make my own link directory

i m download phpld 2.2 var. and install at my domain successful.

now i m chouse devxblack theme for it and will install soon.

so now i want to know some thing.

1. plz provide me best categories dumb suitable with devxblack theme.
2. how i can setup that if anybody submit in my directory then automaticaly a mail dispatch to that mail id. and also send a mail when i approve that submission.
3. plz provide me best phpld plugins to make powerful directory.

I would post on the main php directory site, as the people there know everything. This forum is great (and certainly friendlier), but the people there obviously have a special interest.
