A host I currently use does not support SMTP and I have just setup a forum and need send mail for register authorization. Is there any way to get around this or do I need to find a new host? (like are there any smtp hosts around free ones :) )

I am 99% sure that you have to switch hosts but you might want to ask your current host about that!

yes. just ask about this at the admin of host. maybe he will charge some for it. maybe its better to move to other hosts (i recommend you hostigation.com)

I ended up scrapping the previous host and found a much more reliable and user friendly one... thx for the help though!
