I haven't heard much about MyBB. I don't think that they will be going anywhere since they aren't trying to become one of the best forum softwares around, better than SMF since they do have a chance to beat SMF. If they don't get a move on now, then i don't think they ever will since there will be new forum softwares out soon :eek:

mybb gone bad when i was using it was 6 months back since they dont make mods or hacks some would make for themselves or for money purpose

MyBB is very close to a VB look for sure. Not bad at all for a freebie!

im currently using mybb and i love it , i find it easy to use and customise :)

for free one it has more security than phpbb

Thats all I've been hearing about is Mybb this Mybb that. But yeah your right they don't have a chance when it comes to SMF. :p

well i now have a lot of options
SMF
MyBB
PHPBB-3 or 2

all looks good and all have thier own plus and minus,

lets see what comes up as soon as i start my forum.
mut look wise mybb looks good.
