On one of my websites - How can I automate a list of vehicles within category such that someone can click on either vehicle Stock No. description, or maybe a picture in a listing format and have the click take them to a page on which the vehicle is shown?
Would that require database programming ? Where do I begin ? I know how to do it manually, but that is too time consuming if you have to maintain this with new vehicles all the time..
Please remimber that I am a newbie, guide me gently..

Example

**Category***Make* *Vehicle* *Stock.No.*
__________________________________________________ __

Automobiles
2 doors
Ford .......

1994 Tempo 104a

2006 Fairlaine 302b

Chevy .....
Chrysler ...
4 doors
convertables

SUVs
Motorcycles
Boats

There are scripts that will do all of that for you! You can find free scripts all the way to expensive but most Do run on MySQL databases which is no problem!!

You can get this accomplished very easy!!

I may have a decent script that you can have if I can find it! I will let you know tomorrow!

Thanks Hunter for your offer.

I think you did very well in spite of what must have been a temptation to tell me to get a how to book and start reading...

I did find some free scripts, have started to read a "how to" book and more then understand the amount of detail and complexity of the task now!

Hope to get on board and will be back with what I am sure will be more stupid questions... But hopefully with more understanding on my part...
