Aside from those methods mentioned above, you can also do classified ads posting, participating in answer sites like yedda, doing three-way link exchange with relevant sites, commenting on dofollow blogs, creating and updating blogs by placing your links on them.

Utilize proven tactics such as social bookmarking, articles, directories, press release etc to build quality and authorized back links. Consistency should be maintained while building back links on a regular basis.

You can comment on blogs with the "top commentator" plugin and become one, thus getting site-wide links on that blog. It one of the best ways to get one-way site-wide links.

u will get backlinks from:-

1. Directory submission
2. Article submission
3. Blog Posting/Commenting
4. Forum posting
4. Social bookmarking

I would add being a guess blogger on a blog relevant to your site's niche. This is also an effective way to increase your site's traffic and getting one-way links.

Use above Tips and also Create Polls time to time that will increase Traffic

Can someone tell me why posting my site on directories has not improve the ranking on me website or the traffic. i have posted my website on webmxp.com, Internet Directory - free & paid web directory and ] internet directory for more than six different categories without noticing any change on my site traffic. do i have to post on soo many directories?
