Which is more beneficial, article submission or blog posting?

For me,article submission is better than blog posting. But what do you mean by blog posting? Posting comments on blog? If that what you mean you make sure that are do follow blogs not no follow.

article submission is more powerful.

You have more control over article submission. Not all your blog comments will get published anyway.

I am sure both methods are really working very well. You have to make sure that you are posting FRESH & UNIQUE content. If you use one article only ONCE, and if you can get do more submissions, I am sure that your SERP will go higher.

In my point of view both article submissions as well as blog posting are useful. As far as in both the cases we do publish our niche related content and get backlinks from those content, So, the backlinks are more valuable than any other approaches.

Definitely article submission. It can generate one way links.. Have a unique quality content on current happenings and submit it to quality article directory sites.

Blog commenting can be used to increase the number of links of the websites but your site may not benefit from the traffic shares that much. Writing and submitting articles on the other hand can still be great from traffic building aspects because once you write and submit some high quality articles to some directories, a lot of people could click on the links and then arrive on your web pages. The problem with articles links is that since they are all coming from duplicate pages and contents, they may not be very valuable.

From my point of view, If you have a blog which has good PR as article directories that will be helpful, otherwise, if you are going to create new blog and start blogging, in that case using article directories is better.

However, both methods are better methods to get backlinks compare to other areas like blog commenting, social bookmarks and etc.

I'm sure blog commenting is more beneficial for website and it is the only way to make more backlinks
