Default what is better for beginner?-> HTML or XHTML

Hi all

I want to begin my web designer journey and i have a question ->
which is suitable for me to start the web designing
HTML
XHTML
or first i learn HTML and then XHTML.
If you think there is any other option then plz tell me.

Hi,

I would suggest to start with HTML as beginner.

HTML is quite basic and easy to learn and then step by step you can go to advance level.

I also think first you can go for html. now x/HTML 5 is very impressive, you can go for this.

Start first in HTML as a beginner because you need to know/understand first the basic..

HTML...HTML , HTML is best for beginners; HTML is the basic of all web languages. so must know first about HTML..

It is better to learn HTML first but also keep this fact in mind that now-a-days XHTML is widely used and prefered over HTML, best wishes................

Start out directly with XHTML.
Not a huge difference really.
