CSS code applies to HTML markup. There is no way to "see" your CSS. You can see what your CSS does when it's APPLIED to your HTML.

Another option is to download the web developer toolbar for Firefox. You can edit CSS live on the page and see how it changes. Very handy. If you haven't downloaded Firefox, please do. When you install it, choose the "Custom" installation and make sure you install the DOM Inspector if you don't have it already.
