Default Where did you learn html

I think that it would be safe to say that for pretty much everyone HTML was the first language (coding that is) that they ever learned. Where did everyone first learn how to write HTML?

Mostly from books and doing my own web pages as I went along. Still learning it. For me though, C was the first language I had learned and used long before HTML was even thought of. :)

I learned HTML first. Then broadened it to XHTML.
Then I learned CSS and got so good at it, my high-school teacher (I'm in high-school) wants me to not do the work, but teach the class
Then PHP and XML and JavaScript at the same time.
Then I started working with Flash and ActionScript and yea...
W3schools.com
I learned EVERYTHING there lol

Years ago I was making a personal site and started learning the real basic codes. It just expanded from there. I taught myself HTML from looking at codes and HTML help sites. :)

Yeah same, I looked at ASP but weren't really into it. I didn't see that I'd use it that much.

I think Classic ASP is too similar to PHP and it's worthless. ASP.Net I use sometimes, but I'm not a master so I don't do much with it.

I picked up a book at my bookstore and just read a few pages. For me, it was extremely easy to quickly learn. HTML is the base of all web coding, and should be necessary to learn.

There's only like what...28 tags to learn? HTML is the learning ground for many more languages.
