Default Quick Photoshop Tip

In order to shrink your pictures down in filesize, but not resolution, use Photoshop's Save for Web rather than the standard Save and then JPEG. The Save for Web can optimize and let you set a percentage that is sufficient to really bring down the filesize. I usually go for around 40% generally, but it varies depending on the image and the quality I'm looking for. As you move the sliders, the filesize can be seen in the bottom left corner under the preview.

You should save the image on .PNG, the quality is much better than .gif or .jpg . I save at .png and didn't have problems, yet.
