I have started using Google Analytics since end of July and I'm impressed with its work. Its a great Tool for deeper analysis of site traffic. only thing i see bad is, it takes 24 hours to update stats. I think there is a option where we can change this but i couldn't find it.

I don't think there is a way to change the way it updates, although it seems to be every few hours, but lags a few hours. I really like Analytics though, it has really taught me what is popular, what isn't, how the site is doing in general, much more info than stuff like Webalyzer and the other one (featured in Fantastico, can't remember the name).

Yeah, people who don't have javascript turned on in their browser are missed, but I doubt it's that many. One cool thing about Analytics is that it filters out pages only and not people who are hotlinking, important depending on the type of site you run (if hotlinking is allowed).

Well it makes a big difference. HTML is a scripting language compiler read the script line by line and execute it line by line. So when you have the Analytics code at end of the page [ just above </BODY> tag ] its get loaded after all your site elements d loaded. So visitors wont see a slow in loading of the content of your site. Analytics code will be load at end but since its invisible to visitors its not for them it wouldn't matter.

Its a while Google Analytics has launched but I hadn't used it till few months ago. But when you start use it, More you learn about it or get used to it more you like it. It gives you soo much info about traffic you get from search engines and other sites and keywords visitors has used.
