I think first of all you have to increase your LINK POPULARITY in order to get traffics.Because traffics can increase the chances of extra clicks on your site's adsense.

join as many forums you can .promote your site their and also put the link in your signature so that it can feautre on as many web pages.

Then request other people to do some Backlinks with you.

These are the best manual things you can do.
The content is the best priority.
dont copy content..................
There are some illegal ways also like downloading a mass mailer and sending it on emails

Good keyword. Try to find good keyword. I heard that there are some expensive keyword.
Never ask your friend/visitor to click your Google adsense, it against their TOS.

I'm Regularly Updating my blog with new contents and IT related posts are done.
I'm getting good traffic now a days !
