hi well you need to spend money most are not free if you want to get listed in top
although i suggest to you do bookmarks submissions directory submissions buy links from the sites etc

Is your site new? I would focus on good keywords for your site and adding content to your site. Try adding a blog or Article to your site.

Always stay in SE guidelines and don't do anything black hat like paying for links. Work on back links by going on (do follow) forums and blogs and posting comments with a signature.
