This has probably been asked before, but I can't seem to find it using the search function here in the forums....
As far as natural SEO, if you're building a bunch of sites, should you go ahead and foot the bill for TLD or do you think subdomains are fine? I understand the SILO concept and how that would work with the main keyword as the TLD and subdomains for supporting keywords. But, If I'm just building several sites on multiple topics not really related, should I use TLDs for all of them for long-term SEO purposes. All responses encouraged, Thanks, pj |

The best way I can tell is that. register the domain directly related your niche or keyword and when you develop the site make sub domains for sub keywords. that way you can keep sub domains related to main domain and to other sub domains too. Google index pages in subdomain separately from your main domain.

Thanks for the replies. I'll see what I can afford. I already have 10 shared servers. Web4Seo has a nice package for a VPS server. You can 10 IP addresses (different class c for each) that runs about $75/Mo. In the long run, it's cheaper than $10/month for separate shared accounts.
