Do you think if a domain has good alexa rank, then it will fetch a good price in the resale or end user market? Btw, I'm talking about just domain name (no developed). The alexa rank could be good because it was previously developed or receiving direct type-in traffic.

Not really. It would be a bonus. Alexa rankings doesn't do much. If you add a Alexa script in your site, than you'll automatically jump high in ranks, if you don't have it on your site, you'll stay low.

Alexa rank does not matter that much because it is not that accurate but while selling domains some people might give it some value. Because if you have a very low alexa rank, you might be getting visitors but people might not believe you. By the way it's not that hard to get a good alexa ranking is it?

I don't think that it would have a good resale...

Because personally I don't really go off of alexa rank, but as Syngenetic stated, it is a nice bonus.;)

i dont beleive because a parked domain doesnt have any content and what does the visitors do in that websites except their is inks etc

I don't think so.Of course high traffic will be useful to make more money,but maybe not fetch a good price in the resale or end user market.It is hard to say IMO.

You mean more traffic = more money

So if a domain is making more money then it must also receive good amount in resale or end user market (coz it will bring better return to the buyer). Don't you guys think?

pagerank instead, as I've known some software to influence alexa ranking and actually for sale, but your site needs to be at least less than 100,000 alexa rank with

yeah that autosurfs and manual traafic exchanges may increase alexa rank in few days

I dont know about end users specifically. But I would say that a doaminer would pay more for a name with alexa yes.

well it might help is domaining
but for user its a very small segment of person who contribute to alexa now, either they have old version of IE or have downloaded alexa toolbar.
hence number is quite low.

One should look at a lot of different factors when evaluating a domain name, PR and Alexa included. Also if there is traffic, to find out what that traffic really is, rather than just what Alexa says. Especially since Alexa is easily manipulated with a little work.
