Anyone pre register any .asia domains ? I Godaddy promoting them. $19.99 a domain and there is a 100$ non-refundable application fee. what they say is

" $100.00 non-refundable application fee applies for General Registered Marks, Extended Protection and Registered Entity Names registrations. "

I haven't done it yet because it's pretty expensive and with that amount I can't register much domains anyways.

I didnt do any pre-registrations. It is pricey and I am not sure, I will get something of worth. I opted to wait and watch how .asia fares.

no, not me, same line of thought on .mobi it's too long. i even don't own .ph on my own country why would i reg these types? im not selling to asia only but worldwide.

No Pre-registration for me yet.. It's way to expensive. However, I'm sure that the people who are real domainers are already in hunt..

yes that's common, do you know in 1995 domains can be registered for U.S.$119/year then lowered to U.S.$100 then lowered to U.S.$70/2 years? since this is pre-regged they have limited people to do it.

.asia is a waste of money I think honestly unless its for a travel/asia related website. There's no benefit of having something like freeringtones.asia

yes only worth once would be premium domains like travel.asia, sex.asia, sports.asia etc But others might gain too since domain name market growing day by day they need domains to for the demand.

I think its a waste of money unless you would be lucky enough and register few premium domains still its hard to say how much they may cost :)

Still haven't reg any .asia domains.I am not sure about the future of .asia.But whatever to say,top keywords still worth much money IMO.:)
