Ammount of domains?

What do you suggest is the best amount of domains, before I attempt parking. I was going to use sedo, but I haven't been converting very well.. Any ideas, advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

I don't think it is the amount of domains but more the name and what it can possibly draw from the term searches.

SEDO is the best I guess but i dont make too much at all.

There are other types of sites and things to make money with. Look around.

Yes it would always be the domain name itself that would help you in monetizing more. Sedo has great feedbacks among others so maybe try them.

One way few people realize on how to monetize a domain just sitting around is to put up a simply page or script on it, and monetize it adsense, adbrite and other means.

Sometimes, if done right, it can produce more income than parking at sedo or anywhere else.

It doesn't matter how many domains you part if they are not right type of domains for parking you wont earn anything.You need Typo domains or domains with traffic.

Do not necessarily need to park domains.

The big thing now that more and more domaineers are going to is to not develop the domain but rather to put either a landing page on the domain or a minisite.

I think domain name prices, even in such amount, can never be lower than something arround $6.00 (not sure the exact amount), since this is the price at the registrar.
I think the one who offers better prices for bulk purchases is godaddy.
