Default Database import in Cpanel 11

Hello guys! The situation is the following - I have some databases on local host and now I am going to upload website to hosting! My friend provided me with some place on his hosting account and now I am going to test a website! Could you please explain how should I act with my ready databases if I have Cpanel 11 installed? I don't wish to rewrite them again and just would like to move them from local host to hosting!

I don't quite follow...

Your databse is totally separate from your website files and if you are in a Cpanel platform than localhost may be the right name to use.

You will have the following things to do to access your databse to operate your site which is probably in your config.php or whatever:

1. Host Name: could be localhost

2. DB Name: cpanelUser_DatabaseName

3. DB User: cpanelUser_DatabaseUserName

4. DB Password: just the password that was created for the user of the database

I hope this helps but if not....re-post from another angle or PM me for more help.

Hunter1, you see, the situation is the following - I used phpmyadmin 2.11.5 on localhost when creating databases, but I have phpmyadmin 2.11.6 installed on my hosting account. I am planning to upload databases to hosting really soon and I have some questions about uploading databases to hosting. Can phpmyadmin version difference cause any problems when importing databases to hosting account?
