I'm heading to the Amazon deep in the Brazilian rainforest and I don't know what to expect. Has anybody out there been there and can give me some advice.

I was in Sao Paolo. It was awesome. The food was great and very inexpensive. The beer was good and the people were very friendly. I wasn't anywhere near the Amazon but I would imagine the people there are just as friendly.

Brazil is a great place, but I heard that there's a ton of poverty there.

I haven't been to South America.

All I have heard about it is that there are great beaches and pretty girls. One place where i would love to visit.
