Paypal is the safest in my opinion, but its fee are also expensive to some.

Well it might be the safest but they are restricted to few countries. Even for my country we can only send money cant receive.

Paypal is good wherever it works. You can also go for wire transfer.

I would recommend egold. Its relatively safe and the seller is free from chargebacks making sure once you are paid you stay paid.

It also makes it unsafe too because if the seller is a thief then buyer is doomed.

I think still paypal the safest but as you mentioned the fees are horrible. E-gold was one of my favorites but it has a support near to 0, and I lost a lot of money by scams :(

I agree. I'm in China right now and I can receive money but I can't add any because I don't have a US bank account.:D

There's a few local payment methods, but if we're talking about payment methods beyond China, then e-gold, Western Union and wire transfer is the method people would go for.

I aways use paypal, is much dificult find places to buy or sell products by e-gold, the fee of paypal is much expensive for me too.

But my sugestion is use the Paypal is much more safe.

If you are the buyer paypal is the safest because you can chargeback, but if you are the seller e-gold is better because they don't refund for any reason.

E-gold is good for seller but not for buyer. if you are not happy with the service or goods he is doomed.

But e-Gold is not accepted by all the buyers , So how the seller can sell the goods?

i have a pay pal account: its simple and very secure. the easiest way fro me to buy things by internet! ive never had problems with this system.

Most of the people prefer paypal as the common international gate way ! :)

It will be cool when they started let more countries to use their system. They added number of more countries to their list as "send only" because i think they are worried about Googles Gpay.

Because Both owned by same company they even willing to bend their own rules for that. For example you are not allowed to use paypal for adult stuff but if you check ebay auctions you will find many !
