Ubuntu is a great open source software only problem i got with it is that it needs at least 256 RAM and nearly 4 GB space. like other linux versions you can use it for law end PCs.

That's a great offer! puffin, I haven't know that Ubuntu is so consuming. I don't like that separation of the packages that Ubuntu has - home, server etc. editions. For example, I have to install mySQL etc., because it is not available in home edition.

I have requested this cd??s in the last years i receive 2 months later, i have used only the live cd, is a good system, but i dont like linux.

I did it. It did not take too long.

I received them within about 6 weeks. That's not bad.

I'm a debian fan, btw thanks for the link. However I prefer downloading a netinstall version and then burn it, than waiting for the shipping
